I am Ganeshan Malhotra, a grad student at University of California, San Diego, specializing in Machine Learning and Data Science. Currently I'm working as a Machine Learning Engineer Intern at Sybill.ai. Previously, I worked as a Machine Learning Engineer at Quantiphi, Inc. My research interests span a wide range of topics in Deep Learning with a focus on Natural Language Processing and Computational Linguistics. I have worked with Dr. Ozge Alacam and Dr. Chris Biemann at LT Group, University of Hamburg where I worked towards incorporating gaze-embeddings in multi-modal learning systems. I have also worked with Dr. Tanmoy Chakraborty and Dr. Md. Shad Akhtar at Laboratory for Computational Social Systems (LCS2). Many moons ago, I worked with Dr. Naveen Gupta to design OFDMA-NOMA techniques that could improve 5g communications. Our work was accepted at International Conference on Telecommunications, 2020. My research objective is to build human-like interactive agents that can comprehensively understand the world around us. |
